My spouse and I did the Croatia Food Tour — Sights and Bites walking tour with Richard, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Dubrovnik. Richard was absolutely fantastic. What makes this experience so special is that it's not just a food tour — it's a true immersion into the history, culture, and rhythm of Old Town Dubrovnik. Walking through the winding limestone streets of this UNESCO World Heritage site while stopping at charming, tucked-away local establishments created an experience that felt both authentic and unforgettable.
We not only enjoyed incredible Croatian food and award-winning wines, but we also received a fascinating history lesson of the city along the way. Richard brings a uniquely local perspective, having grown up in Croatia, along with a chef's palate and deep understanding of what truly defines great Croatian cuisine. Every stop felt thoughtfully curated and representative of the region's traditions.

This is a great way to experience Dubrovnik! The guide was lovely with lots of information to share, and we visited four of the best local restaurants in town. Dubrovnik is full of tourist trap restaurants, so with this tour you know you're trying some actually great, local food — and you're going to be full when it finishes! I also tried for the first time one of the best wines I've ever had in Croatia — a remarkable Dingac from the Peljesac Peninsula. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour that Chef Richard provided to my wife and me was fun, relaxing and most satisfying!! The food he introduced us to was delicious and the wine was non stop!! I highly recommend that you consider trusting your time to this man… you won't be disappointed!!
This tour was so interesting, lots of history and food knowledge. I was excited to try crni risotto (black risotto) and it was delicious! All the staff were friendly and I could feel the passion for Croatia our guide had.
